Introducing Open Context Guild
An open, vendor-neutral home for Semantic Context Engineering, a foundation in formation and a call to help draft the Context Contract Specification v0.1.
Open Context Guild is the open, vendor-neutral home of Semantic Context Engineering: the discipline that lets organisations own the meaning of their knowledge (business semantics, context contracts, policies) while technology platforms only execute it.
The work is stewarded by a Dutch non-profit foundation, Stichting Bewakers van Betekenis i.o. (Guardians of Meaning, in formation). Everything is published under open licences and is designed from day one to be handed over to an international open-source foundation.
Our first shared artefact is the Context Contract Specification: machine-readable agreements about meaning, access, evidence and actions. Draft v0.1 is in progress, and we invite architects, implementers and data-governance professionals to help define it.
