Manifesto
Principles
- 01
Meaning is owned, execution is delegated.
The organisation owns its business semantics and context contracts; platforms are responsible for execution.
- 02
Contracts before context.
An agent should not receive "relevant text" but context that a contract declares valid, permitted and evidenced for the task.
- 03
Policy lives outside prompts.
Rules are expressed as policy (e.g. OPA) and validation (SHACL, JSON Schema), not hidden in prompt wording.
- 04
Provenance is not optional.
Every piece of context carries its source, lineage and evidence.
- 05
Portability must be tested, not claimed.
Every portability claim has an acceptance test.
- 06
Open where it matters, pragmatic where it helps.
We don't build everything as open source at any cost. We seek the best combination of open standards, portable artefacts, exchangeable components and demonstrably working integrations.
- 07
Start from business meaning, not technology.
Begin with the business capability and the required decision-making ability, not with the AI stack a customer happens to use.
- 08
Stewardship, not ownership.
Ideas need stewards. Our foundation holds this work in trust and hands it to a lasting commons.
